Club Policies
Parents/Guardians Policy
- I will endeavour to ensure where possible that a responsible person will be present at both training and matches in case of illness or injury to a young person who is attending training. This is to be agreed with the manager/coach if unable to comply. If a child requires hospitalisation, two adults will be required to travel with him, this may cause training to be cancelled and your child may not have suitable supervision otherwise.
- Please ensure that you bring any medication to training and matches. Managers and coaches are not permitted to give any medication under child protection guidelines.
- Avoid bad language at all times and do not become involved in arguments with match officials, players, managers or opposition supporters. Any incidents of unacceptable behaviour including bullying will be dealt with by the disciplinary committee and could include expulsion of the parent/guardian from attending future matches or training sessions and in severe case’s, the child may also be requested to leave the club.
- All fines will be paid for by the team involved, this may be passed on to you at the discretion of the team manager.
- Whenever possible, try to help and encourage the team from the touchline. Do not criticise or single out players on both sides and respect their dignity when making mistakes.
- Leave all coaching and tactics to the team manager to avoid confusing the players. Any disagreements or grievances with the team manager or coaches should be dealt with away from the players and not publicly after the match or training session. Please avoid where possible ringing managers and coaches at home as this may disrupt their own family life.
- If you feel that you cannot discuss the matter with the appropriate person, please contact another committee member for assistance. All committee members details can be found on the club website.
- Please ensure that your child is at training and matches on time as this causes problems when trying to warm up the team and plan tactics/training. If you are not able to get your child there for any reason, ensure that you contact the manager/coach(s) to advise them accordingly – this is common courtesy.
- Ensure that subs are paid at training prior to a match as failure to do so may force the manager to withdraw your child from matches.
- ALL KIT AND EQUIPMENT IS THE PROPERTY OF FC BLOXWICH COMMUNITY CLUB UNLESS OTHERWISE INFORMED BY THE MANAGER AND MUST BE RETURNED PROMPTLY WHEN REQUESTED OR IF THE PLAYER LEAVES THE CLUB. WE WILL PURSUE FINANCIAL COMPENSATION FROM YOU IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS.
