Our Beginnings

FC Bloxwich Community Football Club was formed in January 2005 by a small group of interested parents to provide children living in and around the Bloxwich area the opportunity to play organised football.

Considering that when we formed we only had one team of eleven members, just over a year later we had a number teams ranging from under 7’s to under 11’s including an academy for 4-6 year olds. We were also awarded the FA charter standard award which was presented to Derek Cox and Lee Whitehouse along with the swifts on the pitch of Bescot Stadium by Walsall player Darren Wrack. This award means that our club now meets the strict criteria laid down by the FA on items such as coaching standards and club administration.

Moving into the 2008/09 season, we currently have 9 teams, including a special needs, plus an academy for 4-6 year olds and will also have an Under 10's Girls side by the start of the season in place with over 100 children getting quality coaching on a regular basis.

2010/11 season begins with 8 sides ranging in age from under 7 to our oldest ever side of under 15's.
